A native of Dublin, John Brady divides his time between Ireland and Canada, where he and his wife Hanna raise their family. He is the author of the Arthur Ellis Award-winning Inspector Matt Minogue series. His novel Islandbridge was shortlisted for the Dashell Hammett prize. John is currently working on a historical novel, The Burning Tower, that follows the family of exiles in Babylon, through the Inquisition to Ireland in 1938.
