McArthur & Co to distribute Mosaic Press

McArthur & Co to distribute Mosaic Press

McArthur & Company is pleased to announce that as of January 1, 2010, they will assume the exclusive sales, marketing and distribution functions for Mosaic Press (www.mosaic-press.com) in Canada.

"We are delighted to have found such a terrific fit with Mosaic, and very much look forward to selling, promoting, and distributing their excellent list,” said Kim McArthur, President & Publisher of McArthur & Company. “Mosaic Press has won many awards in its history, including 12 GGs, and we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship going forward. Mosaic's launch list for the spring will include an updated version of Harry Rasky's THE SONG OF LEONARD COHEN, based on the original award-winning documentary.”

"We are very, very fortunate to have established this relationship with Kim McArthur and with McArthur & Company. For many years we have admired what Kim has been doing in Canadian publishing. Her energy, knowledge, reputation and success are recognized widely. We could not have found a better 'partner' than McArthur & Company. We wanted to re-launch our Canadian publishing presence and this is perfect. We believe that this relationship can grow and expand over the years to come," said Howard Aster, Publisher at Mosaic Press.

Edgar Cowan, a Director of Mosaic Press said,  "The Board has been reviewing everything at Mosaic very carefully. This new relationship with McArthur & Company will move our Company in new directions. We think we have a rock-solid backlist, great recent and new titles, we have had great success in foreign rights, our US and UK distributions are solid. Kim McArthur is an exceptional publisher and we are so pleased to begin working with her, her staff, sales representatives and her warehouse. We are delighted!"
